Deliveries

For managers. Deliveries tracks orders you take to a customer: where they’re going, who’s taking them, and whether they’ve arrived.

  1. Go to Deliveries and select New Delivery Order.
  2. Choose the Customer and enter the Delivery Address (required).
  3. Add the Courier taking it, and a Reference (Invoice / Sale) such as a receipt number.
  4. To show this delivery on an invoice’s PDF, pick it under Link to Invoice (optional). It has to be the same customer’s invoice.
  5. Set the Scheduled Date and Scheduled Time, add Notes for the courier, and select Save Delivery Order.

It’s numbered (e.g. DL-0013) and listed as Scheduled.

On the delivery’s row:

  1. Dispatch when it leaves: In Transit.
  2. Mark Delivered when it arrives: Delivered.

Cancel works on a delivery that hasn’t been delivered, and can’t be undone.

Print prints a delivery note on this till’s receipt printer, when one is set up.

Across the top: Pending Deliveries, In Transit, Delivered This Week and Active Couriers.

A delivery is a record of the trip only: it doesn’t change stock or payments. Sell the goods at the till or invoice them as usual.
